It’s a well-known fact that Shiba ears are delicious, so who can blame other Shibas for wanting to nom on one for a bit; this is what happened to Phin. The notch will be less visible once the fur grows back (right now it’s super bare) but it will never be as pointy as the other one. The piece that we brought into the vet was too small to reattach, so Phin just keeps it in a jar next to his bed. I work from home. It’s a legit job: I’m an editor for a publishing company that, oddly enough, doesn’t edit much anymore. Phineas is my only co-worker that I see on a regular basis. He’s a hard worker but when the sun is coming through the bedroom window, he gets almost nothing done. Until Everett & Noelle come home from Day Care & Work (respectively) he’s the only one I talk to. He’s a better listener than he is an employee.
