Oh the weather outside is frightful [day 21 of 366] on Flickr. This is the first snow we’ve had this year, and the first this season (save a freak snowstorm on Halloween that doesn’t count) and Phin was super-excited to get outside while the flakes were still falling. All in all we got about 4 inches probably, not to shabby.January 21, 2012

The Great Shiba Detective [day 18 of 366] on Flickr. Even when they are sleeping, a Shiba’s nose is always going. Sometimes it’s to detect food, but most of the time it’s to detect mischief. It would be a horrible thing for a Shiba to sleep through an opportunity for mayhem. I’m fairly sure that Phineas has only missed one or two opportunities in his 2 1/2 years on this planet.January 18, 2012
