Fear & Loathing & Lost Tragus [day 2 of 366] on Flickr. While technically not his tragus, Phin lost part of his ear 10 days ago in a tragic “love nibble” incident by another Shiba. Sometimes affection goes too far and usually you have to get married, but in this case, he had to wear the Cone of Shame for 10 days. He just got it off today (and the sutures removed) so he hasn’t fully resumed his co-pilot duties. The cone clouded his GPS (global positioning shiba) but he’ll be back up in no time. We got lost leaving the Vet. That I was trying to take a picture while driving also didn’t help.January 2, 2012
